KNX hardware, engineered and manufactured in-house.
Renesans designs and builds switches, binary inputs, actuators and touch panels for KNX installations. Every device is KNX Secure, built on the Renesans Secure Stack, our own KNX firmware stack, developed in-house. The first series is in development, with availability through 2026.

02 — Engineering
Built from the silicon up
Hardware, firmware and production tooling are developed in-house. Every device runs on the open KNX standard.
Renesans Secure Stack
Our own KNX stack, written in Rust
Every device runs on the Renesans Secure Stack, a KNX protocol stack developed entirely in-house in Rust, for memory safety and security by construction. KNX Secure is built in, not bolted on.
In-house development
Hardware, firmware and tooling, all ours
No rebadging and no white-label shortcuts. PCB design, embedded firmware and production test fixtures are engineered and owned by Renesans, which keeps quality and long-term support under our control.

KNX Secure as standard, on every device.
A building outlives the technology installed in it, and its control bus should stay private for just as long. Renesans does not sell security as a tier — every device authenticates and encrypts on the bus by default, exactly as the standard specifies, with keys that never leave the device.
